On Sunday, June 14th 2026, the Royal Arch Chapter Quisqueya was installed under dispensation of the General Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons International.

Our Worshipful Master was installed as Treasurer and our Junior Warden as Secretary of the newly established Chapter.

At first glance, this list is humorous.

But read it again.

Every thriving Lodge depends on Brothers who attend, participate, volunteer, support their officers, pay their dues, uphold harmony, and place the good of the Lodge above personal grievances.

Lodges rarely fail because of one great crisis.

More often, they decline through small acts of indifference repeated over time.

The good news? The opposite is equally true.

One Brother who shows up.
One Brother who volunteers.
One Brother who encourages instead of criticizes.
One Brother who chooses unity over division.

That is how strong Lodges are built.

Today, May 21st, 2026, we proudly commemorate 21 years of labor, light, and fraternity since the establishment of The Worshipful Lodge Mount Moriah No. 52 in 2005 — the only regular Anglophone Lodge in the Dominican Republic.

For over two decades, we have remained steadfast in the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, continuing the Great Work of building better men, strengthening our Brotherhood, and serving humanity with integrity and purpose.

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the Brethren who came before us, those who labor beside us today, and the generations yet to come.

🎉🇩🇴 Honoring the Birthday of a Dominican National Hero 🇩🇴🎉

Today we celebrate the birth of Matías Ramón Mella (born February 25, 1816), one of the Fathers of the Dominican Republic — a true patriot whose courage helped define our nation’s destiny.

A skilled military strategist, Mella played a crucial role in the fight for independence, famously firing the trabucazo at the Puerta de la Misericordia on the night of February 27, 1844 — the spark that signaled the start of the struggle for freedom and the proclamation of the Dominican Republic.

From a young age, he showed bravery and determination, and according to some historians, he was also a Freemason, joining a Masonic lodge at the age of 21 — a detail that reflects the influence of Enlightenment ideals like liberty, fraternity, and justice in his life and work.

Mella’s legacy lives on not only in history books but in the spirit of Dominican independence and resilience. ✨🇩🇴
