Our mission: "To develop youth for life, for leadership, and for global service."

𝘾𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙮 "𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩?!"
As you may have seen, our ministry was broken into this summer and a bunch of our tools and other items were stolen. On of our staff is flying to New York in a few weeks to visit family, but also to pick up replacement tools that we need in order to continue construction, as well as ministry items taken.

Would you consider helping us buy some of the tools? In the comments we have put a Amazon link with many of the items we need that won't ship to the DR. They run from $13 headlamps to a $180 welder. Anything that you could take off the list would be a huge blessing! Cherilyn arrives in NY on September 8th, so having the items before then would be great so she has time to get what we are missing.

For those you did send money already, thank you! We were able to order what would ship directly to the DR already!

We have a prayer request and a financial need to share with you.

This past Thursday, someone broke into our building in the mountains by forcing the locks off the door. They stole a guitar, two speakers, walkie-talkies, and many of the tools and welding equipment we use to build our ministry center. Thankfully, they left the lawn equipment and some of the power tools, so it could have been much worse.
Our neighbors quickly stepped in to help, and one of them was even able to recover the guitar—the only item with sentimental value. We have also filed a police report, although the process is ongoing and it is unlikely that the stolen tools will be recovered. (A few more details are in a longer post in the comments.)

The cost to replace the stolen items is approximately $1,700 USD (99,000 DOP). In addition, we need to improve the security of the building by installing stronger locks, better lighting, and a secure door for the tool room. Our total goal is $2,500 USD (145,000 DOP).

Would you prayerfully consider making a gift to help us replace these essential tools and improve the security of the building? The stolen tools are vital to the construction of our ministry center, and we hope to replace them without using funds that have already been designated for building materials.

If you would like to help, you can give through the donation link in the comments below. We are also putting together an Amazon wish list for anyone who would prefer to purchase replacement items directly.

Thank you for praying for us and for standing with our ministry. We are deeply grateful for the incredible support of our community and for God's faithfulness even in the middle of difficult circumstances.
