Project Hearts

Project Hearts has been working with impoverished populations in the Dominican Republic since 1995. We also cultivate land for community farming.

Our mission is to educate the people of Baitoa in the areas of physical & emotional health so they have the knowledge and resources necessary to transform their own communities. Over the past 17 years, we have built more than 25 homes and numerous improved wood-burning stoves, provided assistance in education and nutrition, and distributed medicine and medical supplies to those residents in need

in Baitoa. Our work has been made possible due in large part to strong partnerships with other agencies and individuals in both the United States and the Dominican Republic.
