We have harvested so many cucumbers from our garden, I taught Fernanda how to make this cucumber salad to add to our menu and everyone loves it!! Next I want to teach her to make pickles!

Leo is our gardener at Josiah’s House. We had bee boxes that have not been touched in years and he has brought them back to life. He harvested 5 gallons of dark sweet honey! We are excited to share it with the kids and our guests who come to visit!!

            We are dreaming BIG, asking BIG and               believing God for BIG things! Josiah’s House is FULL! We are now caring for 32 children and 8 young adults, and our hearts are overflowing with gratitude!

We have received some large donations because someone bought and wore our hoodies or t-shirts and said“what is Josiah’s House”. Buy one and spread the word today!!
New colors and new designs!! I can ship today!! Adult M-XXL. We also have red, mustard, and kelley green shirts.

The best compliment we have received over the years from different people is “Your kids do not look like they are from an orphanage”! Our response is always praise God!! These precious ones are off to their first day of school!

Today is the first day of school for some of our children! Some of them, it’s the first time ever to go to school!! A little over a year ago we received 9 children various ages, with one thing in common, they had not had the opportunity to go to school. Our tutor has worked with them over the last year and everyone gets to go to school this year!! All our kids were so excited to receive their new shoes, backpacks, clothes and school supplies that YOU ALL provided! THANK YOU for loving our kids!!! More photos to come!!

If you are a Church, Christian organization, or a Professional, interested in volunteering alongside us at Josiah’s House in the Dominican Republic in 2027 now is the time to get on our calendar! We have weeks open all throughout the year for you to come and join us for a week to minister to our kids, encourage our adults, serve in a local sugarcane, village, and experience the culture in a safe environment here at Josiah‘s House! Seven bags!! We just made it back to the DR after many delays and changes!! All the school s uniforms and shoes safe and shortly will be in the hands of our kids. It will be a celebration!!!
