It has been an incredible week of ministry training with Brent Diaz. During the last 7 days, we spent over 17 hours of teaching, training, and empowering church and community leaders in the areas of trauma, mental health, abuse, and stress management. The sessions were so well received and we know it will make a tangible impact in each area! Included in Brent's ministry time was a 9-hour intensive in Cabrera, accredited by our local Bible Seminary SETCAR. We are so grateful to Brent for taking the time to come and invest in the Dominican church and communities in this important areas!

On Saturday we celebrated our Fire In My Bones Conference for the pastors and leaders of the city of Rio San Juan. Pastors Adrian and Jaquin, and Brent Diaz spoke on topics surrounding the central theme of "Giving It All" and being disciple-making churches. It was an amazing time of ministry and empowerment!

THE GROWING HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN HAITI

The situation in Haiti continues to deteriorate. Current estimates indicate that approximately 5.83 million Haitians—more than half of the country's population—are facing crisis levels of acute food insecurity or worse.

Of those, nearly 1.9 million people are experiencing emergency levels of hunger. Families are struggling daily to find enough food, and many communities have little access to the assistance they need.

We are excited to share a significant praise report. Through the partnership and generosity of GEMS, Ontario Christian Gleaners, and Fraser Valley Gleaners Society, we now have two 40-foot containers loaded and ready to ship humanitarian aid to Haiti.

We are also deeply grateful to those who have generously donated toward the transportation and distribution costs associated with these containers. Your financial support is making it possible to place life-saving food and supplies into the hands of people who desperately need them.

For security reasons, we are unable to share details at this time regarding the process being used to move this aid into Haiti.
However, we would ask you to pray fervently that every obstacle would be removed and that these containers would successfully reach their intended destinations. Please pray for protection, wisdom, favour with authorities, and safe distribution through trusted local partners.

We are also continuing to raise funds to cover the remaining costs associated with delivering this humanitarian aid. If these first two containers are successful, we hope to send additional shipments in the months ahead. The need is immense, and the opportunity to provide practical help and hope remains urgent.

Thank you for standing with us. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial partnership are helping bring food, relief, and hope to people facing incredibly difficult circumstances. We are grateful for each one of you and look forward to sharing more updates as these containers make their journey toward Haiti.

Please continue to pray with us that God would multiply these efforts and use them to bless countless families in need.

The past few weeks were filled with a diversity of activities, all aimed at equipping, developing, and mentoring pastors, communities, and families. From completing the parenting course, to refreshing the logos at our offices and family centre, to visitation, to running our seminary classes, and even battling a hard to get beehive up a hollowed out coconut tree... there is never a dull moment! Please pray for our seminary (SETCAR) students, as there are a number of them who have recently suffered severe illness and tragic losses of loved ones...

Our formal Spanish-speaking training arm, Seminario Evangélico Teológico del Caribe, continues to equip and mentor current and next-gen leaders in the Dominican Republic to be kingdom agents! We are current running three streams of courses, two online, and one in-person. The picture below is our current first-year cohort taking Historical Books. We are so grateful for our team administration and faculty that make this possible! As well, a huge thank you to GlobalEd and Timothy Funds that allow many of these students that struggle financially to receive this vital ministry preparation!

FIRE IN MY BONES conference in Jarabacoa!

What an incredible weekend we had in Jarabacoa with the pastors and leaders of this gem of a town nestled in the mountains of the Dominican Republic.

We left Nagua at 6 am and returned in a rainstorm about 7 pm. Although we were wet and tired, we were filled with a sense of awe and joy at being a part of what God had done at the conference.

Grateful thanks to Jolvi for driving us. Sincere thanks to Pastor Jaquin, Pastor Clara, and Adriel for preaching/teaching with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Grateful thanks to Aneudis for translating when needed. Grateful thanks to Pastor Jamie and Pastora Carmen for all the work they did behind the scenes to make sure the conference was a success.

GRATEFUL THANKS to two incredible men, Gary and Dom.

Over the past few days, they have poured themselves into installing the new kitchen cabinets at the Ministry Development Centre—starting early each morning and often working late into the evening. With remarkable skill, experience, and attention to detail, they have transformed this space into a functional and efficient kitchen.

We are deeply thankful to God for bringing people like them alongside us—men who not only invest their talents so generously in the ministry but also bless us through their friendship and partnership. Their contribution means far more than the work itself, and we are truly grateful.

"FINISH THE MISSION" MISSION CONFERENCE

What an IMPACTFUL weekend we had!

Pastor Moises, from Cuba, opened and closed the mission conference with powerful messages that challenged us to finish the mission. Many people responded to his challenge.

Over 270 pastors and leaders gathered together on Saturday for a full day of open sessions and workshops.

Pastor Jeremy and Pastor Graham shared powerful stories in the open sessions and further challenged us to respond to the mandate of God to go into all the world, share the Gospel, and make disciples.

After lunch, Pastor Angel, Pastor Julio, Pastor Patricia, Pastor Nelson, and Darren led workshops on specific mission themes. Each workshop was filled with people who were deeply impacted by the teachings that were shared.

We pray that this conference will be a catalyst to further move the Dominican churches from receiving missionaries to sending missionaries. We pray that the Dominican Republic will play a big part in finishing the mission of God to reach every nation, every tribe, and every tongue.
