🙏 Thank You to Our Human Angels – The Bennet Family 🙏

Today, we are filled with immense gratitude as we thank the incredible Bennet family for their generous donation, which brought support and hope to 7 families in need. Among their many kind acts, they also gifted a refrigerator to a family who desperately needed one – a true game changer for their daily life.

But what touched our hearts even more was witnessing how the Bennets are teaching their children a beautiful lesson: that traveling can be more than just sightseeing – it can be a mission of love and purpose. By including their kids in this act of kindness, they’re planting seeds of compassion and empathy that will grow for generations.

Thank you for choosing to make a difference and for showing the world that humanity still shines bright. You are true human angels. 💛✨

Why is it good to book Activities and excursions before your hotel arrival?

Honestly, it is better to book tentatively before you arrive. That way, you can analyze your excursion and the company you are purchasing from online. Remember that the tour operators inside the hotel are not the excursion providers; usually, the excursion is provided by a contractor or third party. These large tour operators inside the hotel, most of the time, have no control over the activity due to a high volume of clients, so you don't know what you are purchasing at the last minute.

By making a tentative reservation (tentative reservation needs no payments out front) from a local company in advance, you have time to do your research and check the company reviews, etc, ask for discounts, and negotiate rates, most local companies are also the real Providers of the activity, and usually quality control is supervise closely from management,
By using a local company, you are also contributing to the local economy of the country you are visiting and helping directly the locals impacting their lives in a positive way. The opposite of when you purchase activities from inside hotels, these large tour operators are owned by big international companies that aren't really in touch with the human side of customer service.

You can request information about underage kids in need of help, an elderly disabled looking for that helping hand, or better yet, that single mom struggling to raise her kids on her own. These are all known scenarios taking part in many people's lives around these beautiful all-inclusive hotels.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank our newest Human Angel donor for bringing a ray of hope to one of our receiving hands family of a single mom with 3 kids. The term Human Angels may sound like an exaggeration of the definition but this is what they are to these families you can only understand that by walking in their shoes. Some people may ask themself why we post these pictures of impoverished families receiving food, clothing, or help of any kind, the answer is, If we don't post you will not know this reality of the so-called paradise, The reality of this citizens polarize the opinions of what visitors know Punta Cana to be, a place to just come relax and have fun, sadly enough that's not all Punta Cana is, is also the home of thousands of human beings deprived of the most basic human necessities, we post to let people know that Bavaro Helping Hands is the bridge between the giving hands and the receiving hands, we DO NOT receive any goods, donations, money, etc and behalf of our receiving hands you need to do it your self,
Why Bavaro Helping Hands?
The fact is that many kids and single moms are looking at the ceiling praying for some miracle to happen in their lives, we decided to be that connection that makes that miracle materialize.
Here are a few reasons why you should be our next human angel!
1. Helping others feels good
2. It creates a sense of belonging
3. It gives you a sense of purpose
4. Giving helps keep things in perspective

In conclusion, helping others benefit so much the giving hands that I find the philosophy behind philanthropy contradicts itself.

These kids need school supplies, and uniforms, also a sponsor is willing to help them pay for school tuition since school is not free in DR, any help will be greatly appreciated. TRAVEL WITH PURPOSE:
When a person visits a country and never leaves the hotel is like you were never there. Dominicans are a go happy and very friendly people who love visitors from all countries Because the Dominican Republic is an impoverished country, you will often see locals trying to sell handmade goods at the beach and sometimes they can be very persistent trying to make a buck, you should not feel threatened by that, if you are not interested to buy, just say a firm NO and they will leave you alone.
By visiting places outside the hotel you will be practicing Tourism with Purpose some travelers identified themself by helping locals business to grow and giving back to the community of the country they are visiting. Remember that the hotels are owned by big enterprises who would love to keep all the business in-house.
Especially in Punta Cana there is a large poor, out of luck community that doesn't get any help from government entities, we do not have a system set up to give back to the community, aside for the low wages jobs the locals have inside the hotel. All of the money spent inside the hotels goes back out of the country to large foreign bank accounts,
Our Company Punta Cana Best Excursions has created a none profit organization page name Bavaro Helping Hands serving as the breach between visitors and the poor people in need living in the poor areas of Punta Cana, El Hoyo de Friusa, Mata Mosquito and Villa Playbu, among the locals we help are, single mom's with kids, elderly and out of luck people, orphan kids and many other members of the poor Dominican society,
We do not receive any goods or money on behalf of the people in need, instead we make the connection possible, locating who needs the most help, and paring that person with the travelers who want to help to make it possible for the visitor to hand out the help personally to the person in need, giving a chance for the giving hands to meet with the receiving hands Travel with Purpose by Bavaro Helping Hand creates memorable rewarding events for those with a kind heart, those who know that helping others is every human beings duty.
