We just wanted to share a story from our trip to the Dominican Republic. While we were eating at a restaurant, our server came up to me and asked about Kaelen's autism. Mind you, we had only been there a few minutes and it wasn't something I ever mentioned so I asked how she knew he had autism. She said that she used to work with children like him. But the thing I appreciated the most is how she treated Kaelen the whole time we were there. She was so kind to him and engaging with him at every opportunity, despite the language barrier. She kept commenting about how intelligent he is and was very impressed by his appetite too 😂.
The next time we went back to this restaurant, she remembered his order and already knew that's what he wanted again. She just really took a liking to Kaelen and it's nice to see that we still have decent people in this world who treat people with dignity even if they act a little different. 💙

2025 wasn't quite as productive as we had wanted but it was still a great year full of growth so we're keeping that positive outlook going into 2026 😀

Christmas is supposed to be the most joyful time of year but please remember that not every family gets to experience those joyous feelings.

Melodee Buzzard was only 9 years old when she went missing from her home in California. A couple months later, the body of an unknown female was found in Utah and on December 22nd, the FBI crime lab got DNA confirmation that it was Melodee who tragically had her life cut short by her own mother.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to this family 💔

Sergeant Enrique Ramos Jr (USMC) took his own life outside of the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.

A little late but we handed out trays of Thanksgiving meals to a group of people at the train station who were beyond appreciative.

Our main mission at Kae & Ray Cares has always been to inspire others to do something for someone who is less fortunate, no matter how big or small the gesture. It doesn't take much time, effort, or money to do something nice for a stranger in need. 🙂

And we want to give a special thanks to Antoinette who provided some additional hot meals! She also has a huge heart for service to others and we appreciate what she does. 💙
(We don't have her on social media unfortunately so we can't tag her but hopefully she sees this 👀)

While many of us spend a nice evening with family and friends, there are those who are working to keep us safe. Tonight, we dropped off some turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and pies to our local police department.
Law enforcement can be a thankless job so it's good to remind them that what they do is appreciated.
