What a great way to kick off the new Toastmasters season! 🎉

Yesterday, Frederiksberg Toastmasters held its first meeting after the summer break, and the room was filled with great energy, engaging speeches, and plenty of laughter.

A big thank you to everyone who took on a meeting role, delivered a speech, evaluated, or joined us as a guest. Every meeting is a team effort, and it’s what makes our club such a welcoming place to learn and grow.

And just like that, we’re officially on summer break. ☀️

Before wrapping up the season, we got together for a relaxed evening in the park with great food, good conversations and, naturally, a few impromptu Table Topics.

A big thank you to everyone who has been part of the club this year – our members, guests, speakers and evaluators, for making every meeting welcoming, supportive and inspiring. And a special thank you to our outgoing Board for all the time, energy and dedication you’ve invested in the club throughout the year.

We’ll be back in August, recharged and ready for a new season, with a new Board taking over and looking forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces.

Until then, enjoy the summer – we’ll see you in August! ☀️🎤

Our final meeting before the summer break was about Lessons from Failure – a theme every speaker can relate to.
At Toastmasters, we don’t only practise speaking. We practise trying again. We practise receiving feedback. We practise standing up after the awkward moments and becoming a little better each time.

Last week’s meeting came with lab coats, white shirts, and a room that looked ready for testing more than just speeches.

The experiment theme showed up in the details, from outfits to roles, adding a playful layer to the meeting without stealing the spotlight from the speakers.

Andreas Møgelhøj served as Toastmaster of the Day and kept the session running smoothly, guiding us through the agenda with clarity and lots of fun.👏

The Best Speaker award went to Karthikeyan for a confident and well-prepared speech.
Martin received Best Evaluator for his clear, thoughtful feedback.
Our Best Table Topics award went to the guest - Guara, who handled the questions with ease and good humour.

Strong participation, lots of smiles, and a room full of engaged members and guests made it a great session.

This Saturday, we’ll be hosting our Club Contest.
All members are encouraged to come along, support the speakers, and be part of the day.

Yesterday’s meeting was our first full gathering after the winter break - and it was good to be back.

Sakaria served as Toastmaster of the Day and ran the meeting with a clear structure and steady pace.

The Best Speaker awards went to Branka and Marc, both delivering focused, well-prepared speeches.

Strong participation, familiar faces, and a great energy in the room. 😊

We meet on Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:00.

To respect our speakers, we start on time and do not admit latecomers once the meeting begins.
