Yesterday was a truly special day at our Monday's Language Café. We, together with Bhutanese Nepalese forening welcomed more participants than ever before, with 21 people joining us from many different backgrounds and cultures. It was fantastic to see new and familiar faces connecting, practicing Danish, sharing experiences, and building friendships.

A special thank you to our volunteers, who joined us and always help make the day even more vibrant and welcoming. We were also delighted to welcome Lisa Land, Thisted Municipality's settlement guide, who shared valuable insights about life, opportunities, and community connections in Thy.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Together with dedicated volunteers, local partners, and internationals from around the world, we are creating strong networks, supporting integration, and helping people feel at home in Thy.

As one volunteer, Ernst, happily said: "Der har aldrig været så mange på Mandagsholdet som i dag – 21 personer."/We have never been so many on the MondayGroup in one day with 21 people! ❤️

Want to Discover the Forest and Learn About Danish Mushrooms?🍄
Then join for a cozy and educational mushroom hunting adventure on Saturday, 29 August!

Together with Thisted's Red Cross, you will explore the beautiful woodland around Nors Sø, guided by experienced mushroom enthusiasts who will help us identify edible mushrooms and learn more about Danish nature.

📍 Meeting point: Isbjerg parking area by Nors Sø
🕐 Time: 13:00 - 16:00

After our walk, we'll gather around a fire to prepare a delicious mushroom stew using our findings, served with bread. There will also be coffee for adults and juice for children.

🚗 Participants are asked to come in their own cars, but if you need transportation, please write the number to let them know when signing up and they will do their best to help.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, practice English and Danish, enjoy nature, and experience a traditional Danish outdoor activity together.

Sommerudflugt med Thy Internationals – Kunst, fællesskab og hygge ✨
I dag havde vi den store fornøjelse at samle både nye og mangeårige medlemmer til en dejlig dag på det unikke Kirsten Kjærs Museum i Frøstrup.
Vi nød hinandens selskab over lækker mad, kaffe, kage og forfriskninger, mens vi oplevede spændende kunst, inspirerende historier og en hyggelig guidet rundvisning. Dagen bød også på sjove aktiviteter, gode samtaler og masser af latter i smukke omgivelser.
Hos Thy Internationals er vores mål at skabe fællesskab og give internationale borgere mulighed for at opleve alt det, som gør Thy til et fantastisk sted at bo og leve. Uanset om du allerede bor i Thy eller overvejer at flytte hertil, er du altid velkommen til at deltage i vores arrangementer og møde mennesker fra hele verden.
