🌍 AN IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR IDO!

The International Dance Organization has been officially recognized as the International Organization for Dance within the International Music Sports Committee (IMSC).

This recognition marks another important milestone in IDO’s international development and confirms that IDO events, competitions and championships are recognized and endorsed within the IMSC and the global Music Sports movement.

🌍 IDO AT THE 3RD TAFISA EUROPEAN SPORT FOR ALL GAMES 2026! 🇮🇪💃

From 6–11 August 2026, Limerick, Ireland, welcomed communities and delegations from across Europe for the 3rd TAFISA European Sport for All Games – a celebration of movement, culture, inclusion, diversity and friendship.

The International Dance Organization was proudly represented by Patrik Peroša, Gašper Kožar, Anže Finkšt and Gaynor Johnson Košuta, who brought the spirit of IDO to Limerick through dance workshops and activities, sharing their knowledge and passion for dance with participants of all ages.

IDO was also proudly represented through Senior Vice President Fiona Johnson, who serves as a member of the TAFISA Board of Directors, strengthening IDO’s connection and contribution to the international Sport for All movement.

One of the most memorable moments came on the final evening, when delegations from across Europe joined the IDO group dance. Different nations, cultures and traditions came together through movement – creating connections and, most importantly, new friendships. ❤️

Dance is more than competition. It is participation, culture, health, creativity, community and a universal language that brings people together.

We are proud that IDO continues to share this message around the world.
