🌍 WCCS Monthly Update 🌎

The American Regional Event successfully took place from 26 Feb – 1 March, and we’re excited for the upcoming European Regional Event (9–11 April) — tickets are now available!

📅 The AGM will be held 5–11 July, with more details coming soon.
📌 The second proposal deadline is 8 March, and the first Big Brother meeting will take place on 30 March.

We’re also looking for students to create content for World Spine Day! This could include a short personal story, soundbite, cultural movement/posture showcase, or a call-to-action video.

Join Dr. Christine Kwon for an insightful discussion on “The False Dichotomy Between Research and Subluxation/Vitalism.”
🗓 2 February
⏰ 7:00 PM (GMT+2)

Dr. Christie Kwon holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, a Master of Public Health from Emory University, and a Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University, where she graduated with Pi Tau Delta honors. She has completed additional training in health policy at Harvard and a visiting fellowship in functional MRI at the Harvard Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging.

She is a full-time faculty member and Research Chair at Life University and serves in leadership and advisory roles with several professional and research organizations. Dr. Kwon’s research focuses on vertebral subluxation epidemiology, maternal and child health outcomes, and advanced imaging applications in chiropractic care. She was named 2021 ICA Upper Cervical Council Chiropractic Researcher of the Year and has presented her work internationally across healthcare disciplines.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Patrick Freud is a Montreal-based chiropractor and founder of the Freud Clinic, with a special interest in helping patients with neurological conditions such as concussions, dizziness, movement disorders, and childhood neurodevelopmental challenges.

In addition to maintaining a private practice since 1996, Dr. Freud has served as an Adjunct Professor of Anatomy at McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine since 1999. He has been lecturing internationally on functional neurology since 2010 through his renowned Adjusting the Brain seminars.
