The union is non-exclusive and revolves around the female perspectives in technical matters. In Denmark, we have “the Nordic paradox”. This refers to countries with more equal gender norms, not having a higher share of women in higher positions within STEM (G. Geary 2018). This network seeks to break that paradox. We will host talks, arrange collective participation in TEK relevant events, hold networking events and skill-enhancing workshops. Together we will create a strong culture for motivated men and women that wish to further themself. You will strengthen your competencies and gain interdisciplinary connections. The strong personal and social culture we create will be something you can take with you to the job market after your graduation from university, afflicting the culture at your new job. Participating actively in a strong network for like-minded people like this, will make your time at the university more profitable and enhance your possibilities on the job market.
