ABOUT ATHRA GATHERING
Athra Gathering is a week-long immersive experience for experts and all those interested in Stone Age technology and hunter-gatherer Stone Age live interpretation. Athra Gatherings are organised by the international group Athra together with the local hosts. They are meetings where old and new members network, experiment, perform, demonstrate, discuss, hold workshops, share
experiences and knowledge, enhancing own and others’ skills. Common projects may be arranged. Sell of own handicraft is welcome. During the Athra Gathering visitors get closer to our knowledge of the Stone Age and learn more about hunter-gatherers' way of living. After agreement with the local hosts we engage them in hands-on activities, workshops and demonstrations. Will to actively engage in group and public activities, as well as a set of "Stone Age clothing", are the basic conditions for participation.
