If you have not already made it to one of our runners club events with lovely Irene Zernicki now is the time to join 🏃☀️

This Saturday you’ll be able to get one of our brand new LUMA t-shirts if you join the fun 5K run - for free!!

We only hand out a limited number of T-shirts this Saturday for the people who join - so make sure to be there if you want to get your hands on one of these nice T-shirts for free!

The weather is going to be lovely so come down and follow along when Irene takes you around some of Kalundborgs nicest runner paths. Everyone are welcome to join 🫶
After the run there’ll be fruit and shakes for the participant.

🌧️⚽ LUMA GAMES 2026 ⚽🌧️

LUMA GAMES didn’t quite turn out as originally planned this year. With only a small group of participants due to the weather that alternated between heavy rain and strong winds, we unfortunately weren’t able to run the football tournament and event we had hoped for. The pictures were taken in the few moments without rain 😅

That said, those who joined still made the most of the day, and it was great to spend time together despite the challenging conditions. While the turnout was lower than we had hoped, events like these are all about bringing people together, and every edition gives us something to build on for the future.

We’re already looking forward to trying again - hopefully with a little more support from the weather. ☀️

A huge thank you to for supporting the event on the day, to Campus Kalundborg for their financial support, to Eskebjerg spejderne for letting us borrow their big start tent in which we found shelter, and especially to all the volunteers from the LUMA House Council. A lot of work goes into planning and organizing an event like this, and we truly appreciate all the time and effort you put in behind the scenes. 🤍

Renovation update from LUMA 🛠️

Kalundborg Municipality has been working on new fire safety measures in the building, which has meant some pretty big changes. All carpets have been removed, the old glue has been sanded off the floors, and everything will be re-lacquered. A lot of wooden structures have also been taken down including the entire ceiling in the main hall, as well as several partitions and built elements in the café and bar.

So yes… LUMA is looking pretty raw these days.

We’re really looking forward to the final repairs like getting the walls and ceilings patched up and the electricity fully back in place so we can start bringing life back into LUMA with events and everyday activity again.

As soon as we’re ready, we’ll open the doors for you. It might still look a bit rough around the edges but that’s part of the process. What matters most is being able to gather in the space again, welcoming new members, and creating a place to hang out together.

We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more about when we can move back in 💡
