Hello everyone!
As every April, we will be conducting a census in which you can all report the species and number of individuals of each species that you keep.

How to report?

You can send an email to: [email protected]

Ex: P.Bintan(2,2,10)---(male,female,unsexed)

For those who have never reported, you must include your name and country in the email so that we can properly register you in the census.

When is the census conducted and why?

The census is biennial (April and October) in order to observe the population changes that the two species in captivity may undergo and to keep the number of actual individuals as up-to-date as possible.

The Parosphromenus Project is the international network that links Parosphromenus breeders from all over the world

Hello everyone!

Last few days to report for the October census!

We remind you that you have until October 30th to report your Parosphromenus. It doesn't matter if you have 2 or 200 specimens, the important thing is that you submit your report and contribute to the project, so we can have the most accurate possible estimate of the populations of the different species in captivity.

Your contribution is important.

We wish again to extend our gratitude for all long-time keepers whose steady work continues to form the foundation of this project. And at the same time, we are happy to see and welcome many new contributors.
Together, we are building something vital: a global, grassroots conservation network dedicated to the awareness, protection and preservation of the Parosphromenus species. Thank you for your commitment which makes this possible and your contribution to this year’s census.
The beautiful photo is with thanks and credentials to Claudio Serna Valle, - showing Parosphromenus parvulus – a very fine and delicate species, which luckily is a little bit improving in numbers after having been almost gone in our Census for a few years.
