The Board of European Students of Journalism is the implementation of an idea born in 2010 when an increasing number of students of social media related subjects began to feel the effects of the lack of an active unifying body that could bring together students and student chapters all around Europe. It is unfortunate that it took so long for people to finally take the initiative to go ahead with such a project, but now, it's here.
