🎪 Festival Crew Camp Ravnedalen Live in Kristiansand 🇳🇴
In association with AKKS Kristiansand and Musikkontoret SØRF, we're offering a unique camp for aspiring crew members @ the Ravnedalen Festival

⚒️ While working on-site at the festival and taking part alongside the other volunteers, you'll also receive exclusive backstage training from experienced live music professionals. You'll gain valuable insight into the industry and have the opportunity to meet and network with both local and touring crew members ✨

✨Not all music legends stand in the spotlight. Some make the spotlight possible - Görel, the fifth member of ABBA was such a person ✨ A true pioneer and role model for women everywhere— Görel redefined what leadership could look like 💃🏻 She joined the publishing company, Sweden Music, and record label, Polar Music, in 1969: What started as a secretarial role quickly grew into a key position. She became Vice President of Polar Music and later ABBA's personal manager, handling everything from international record deals and press relations to tours and day-to-day logistics.

Even after ABBA stopped performing together in 1982, Görel continued to manage ABBA-related business and worked closely with Björn and Benny on their later projects. In 2018, she received a special Swedish Grammy Award for her extraordinary contribution behind the scenes

☀️ Earlier this week, we were invited to our good friends at Stage & EventLight's summer party in Stockholm 🇸🇪
In many ways, it was one of the best industry gatherings we've attended✨Not only was it a diverse and inclusive event for all 200 guests, but it also featured a strong representation of the next generation of live event professionals 🌱
Perhaps that's no coincidence. The company's two founders were just 15 and 17 years old when they started the company, and they clearly understand the importance of making newcomers feel welcome, included, and valued from day one 🤝
Creating a more inclusive industry starts with opening doors, sharing knowledge, and making space for the next generation. &EventLight are setting a great example of how it's done 🙌
And, of course, we have to mention the real highlight of the evening: a soft-serve ice cream machine with lactose-free ice cream 🍦 and plenty of delicious vegan options on the BBQ gril🔥. What more could you ask for? 😍
Thank you for having us, and for bringing the industry together in such a warm and welcoming way! 💜

✨It was an absolute pleasure, together with Backstage Pass.NL, to visit the crew behind 'Dermot Kennedy' at AFAS Live in Amsterdam last week.
The participants gained an incredible amount from meeting the crew, while the crew themselves got a refreshing break from the routine of tour life.
