Become a Tutor at Fionia Maritime Academy! ⚓📚

Support seafarers as they build confidence in the maritime business and make a real impact in the industry.

Fionia Maritime Academy is launching two new CBS HD courses for seafarers in Spring 2026 — Maritime Digitalization and Trade & Macroeconomics — and they’re now looking for dedicated CBS Shipping students to join their tutor program.

As a tutor, you’ll guide seafarers through short online sessions, help them navigate academic tasks, and support their learning while gaining valuable teaching and leadership experience yourself.

💼 Paid position – 1,500 DKK per seafarer
⏳ Approx. 6 hours per seafarer across 2–3 months
🎓 Eligible students: 3rd year BSc IST or graduates
📍 Intro session in Copenhagen – January 2026
🗓️ Deadline: December 12, 2025

We received an insightful presentation about the firm and internship opportunities, got a great office tour, and ended the evening with delicious pizza and good conversations. We had the pleasure of getting an inside look into the world of maritime energy supply and trading, where GFS professionals – including Copenhagen Business School graduates (Nikolaj Tjørved Haarh, Rasmus Krause Andersen) – shared valuable insights about the industry and their career journeys.

After the presentations, the evening continued with a canal boat tour through Copenhagen, casual bites and fun games – creating the perfect balance between professional learning and social connection 🌇
