Generation Save the Planet

Rutevejledning

Generation Save the Planet The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it. Become part of Generation Save the Planet to make a change.

Countries have recognized that climate change presents an ever growing threat to development, poverty eradication efforts, and the welfare of their citizens. The impacts of climate change are already being felt on every continent. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the world’s greenhouse gas emissions are continuing to increase and on the present path, global temperature rise will far exceed the goal to limit of two degrees Celsius that countries have agreed upon to avoid the most dangerous impacts of climate change. Waiting for someone else to take action, is not an affordable option. We need to stand together today and make changes where changes can be made. If drastic efforst are not made in our time, it will soon be too late.
