IMMART is a volunteer-run organisation that does not always adhere to convention - there is not much that is "regular" about us, neither in terms of time nor fashion, but we believe this is precisely what allows us to continue to innovate, thrive and enjoy our events and gatherings when they happen.

We strive to support the artists who are active in our network whenever we can and the fact that we have no regular funding and often not so many free hours to devote to individual artists spurred us to develop the IMMART Visits concept.

Between 13 and 15 March, Shaanea Amantha Mendis who takes care of our stories on social media will be exhibiting at Art Nordic and we are going to go visit her and the other 59 artists.

🫱🏾‍🫲🏾We are super excited to be collaborating with HUM:Global and Centre of African Studies at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen on this fantastic evening of events!

✈️🎵As a part of their European tour, the new highlife band from Ghana, Amamere will be performing a concert at Litteratur Haus on 24 April (@20:00, only 100kr on the door!).

📙 If you would like to learn more about the global history of the "highlife" music tradition, we strongly encourage you to join us earlier in the evening for the book launch, "Highlife Unbound" by Dr Markus Coester (@17:00, free entrance)

❤️ Readings, drum beats and talks about love - the form it takes, how it is expressed, and how different our understandings of it can be ... There was space at last Friday's Love Jam for each and everyone of us.

🎨Friday 16 January will be a chance to enjoy beautiful art work in a beautiful gallery with beautiful people. Beyond the beauty of it all, you will be surrounded by warmth and good energy, and have a chance to meet new people who share your passion for art ... and you'll also get to hear a little about the IMMART Network.

🍷Bring a bottle of something to enjoy throughout the evening - with or without alcohol - and we will share a welcome drink and a few nibbles.

💫We are excited to share our spring calendar of events which kick off @ MDS Studio & Gallery for Eli Trier's exhibition opening
💫Later in January we shall be having our New Year Gathering at Gallerie Lorien in Frederiksberg.
💫In February we'll celebrate love at the next jam session at MDS Studio & Gallery.
💫In March we shall celebrate the arrival of spring out in the countryside at a dinner hosted by Nicol Savinetti.
