Our Story
In October 2018, a smooth transition occurred. Garagen found a new home and generously let us make the space our home. Since then, we have gotten to know and learn from people and other collectives who share the necessity to engage in conversations to challenge the current state of affairs.
Through these conversations, a series of experiments and concepts have been tested and taken offsite. We have been playing with soundscapes, visual and conceptual art and technology to create immersive experiences. The idea is to facilitate a social capital exchange, illustrating that social value that may be difficult to quantify in our current financial system, is as important as economic value. Everything we are working on now will serve as a solid foundation for building the long-term vision we have envisaged in October - a strong community based on trust, ethical design, and collaborative effort – so we value long term collaborations.
Ultimately, we want to encourage artists, entrepreneurs, curious minds in diverse fields of knowledge to come together and work on projects to mutually build portfolios, gain knowledge through sharing and make abstract concepts tangible for social impact.
