And that's a wrap on Greenworks training week in Romania! ๐ฟ
As youth workers from Georgia ๐ฌ๐ช, Greece ๐ฌ๐ท, Denmark ๐ฉ๐ฐ, Latvia ๐ฑ๐ป, Romania ๐ท๐ด and Ukraine ๐บ๐ฆ, we are gathered to exchange knowledge, and share practices on what a greener future can look like. ๐
We covered a lot of ground. From sustainability in rural vs urban areas and waste management practices, to the geopolitics of climate change, circular climate adaptation and environmental protection. It was great to see how everyone brought their own experiences, cultural perspectives and ideas to every single session, which made these sessions even more valuable.
This training was also a great reminder of why bringing people together in person matters and makes a difference.
We developed workshop ideas, explored funding strategies and co-created handbooks together with all project partners. Through all these hands on practices, we have sparked some really valuable conversations.
No only talks, we also walk the talk - literally! We had a great hiking trip in the mountains as a creative and active way to spark conversations and knowledge sharing. ๐๏ธ
What a group and what a week! The goal was always to make sure Greenworks doesn't end here. Based on the ideas that came out of this week, it definitely won't. ๐๐ซ
