Sponsored by Guinness, this unique tradition raises money for children’s charities and kickstarts St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Copenhagen.

The race is organized by Shamrock Love- let's connect our world through charity. Started back in 2001, the 3 Legged Charity Race is Copenhagen's longest running St. Patrick's Day event. Sponsored by Guinness, the race is organised by volunteers from the Danish-Irish community and raises money for various children's charities.

Dear friends 💚

We’re delighted to share that during our St. Patrick’s Day 2026 celebrations, we raised an incredible 𝟱𝟮,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗗𝗞𝗞 (€7,025) and are donating 𝟭𝟳,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗗𝗞𝗞 (€2,340) to each of our 3 charities 👏👏👏

💚 Since fundraising began in 2007, we’ve now raised a total of 𝟴𝟬𝟮,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗗𝗞𝗞 (€107,385), and it's all thanks to you!

💚 A massive 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to every racer who joined our 3 Legged Charity Race in - and for the first time on !
💚 Thank you to everyone who bought merchandise or donated to 🙏
💚 Huge thanks to our generous sponsors and all the bars along the routes 🙏
💚 And to our amazing and supporters who help us every single 💚☘️💚
