Future Entrepreneurs of Denmark (FED) is a diverse talent network that was established to bridge the gap between companies, the academic world and entrepreneurs. The network is a joint initiative of student organizations from numerous top universities in Denmark with focus on entrepreneurship. It is our vision to strengthen the entrepreneurial
spirit among students and facilitate the progression of new ideas that will help solidify innovation and entrepreneurship in our society. FED equips students with a diverse, multidisciplinary network, practical and theoretical skills and know-how in order to have the necessary tools to utilize entrepreneurial opportunities and turn business ideas into reality. WHAT WE DO
Each semester, the brightest and most talented students with diverse educational backgrounds are admitted into the FED programme. In collaboration with top-tier partners such as Google, DesignIt, McKinsey & Company and many more, we develop the entrepreneurial mindset and competencies of the selected students through six exclusive and customized workshops and a final startup weekend. We believe that diversification in a startup team is one of the key ingredients for the successful development of a strong idea. Throughout the semester-long process, the students are supported in building diverse teams, learn key skills to develop own business ideas and learn what it takes to turn ideas into reality. WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED? Are you a student or recent graduate from a Danish university and wish to be a part of a diverse entrepreneurial network? Are you interested in developing skills beyond your own area of study and learn from leading players within the entrepreneurial ecosystem? Do you enjoy thinking in new ways and go beyond limits? Then FED is definitely for you! You will meet different players in the Danish entrepreneurial eco-system as well as partners who can help you with your entrepreneurial ventures in the future. Upon finishing the programme you will receive an official diploma, certifying that you have been a valuable member of the FED network and will be granted access to the FED alumni network. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are looking for dedicated students and people who have graduated within the last 12 months and have a sincere interest in entrepreneurship and want to learn more about what skills it takes to develop own business ideas and turn them into a reality. Whether you already have a startup and want to broaden your network, learn from others and share your skills or whether you are a newbie in the field of entrepreneurship: As long as you have a curious and open mindset we are happy to receive your application! As a member of FED you do not just get a lot of diverse competences, you also get invited to our alumni network, which includes current and old members of FED Additionally you will meet different players in the Danish eco-system as well as partners who can help you with your entrepreneurial ventures in the future. AN EVENT FOR EVERYONE:
At the beginning of the semester an introductory event will be held for those interested in finding out more about the FED Network. During this event you will be given the opportunity to ask the FED team questions, find out what it means to be a member of FED, and hear what is expected of you as a member. WHERE & WHEN will be announced.
7 EVENTS
During the semester there will be seven unique events in Copenhagen for members of FED. All of these events will be in English and provide valuable networking opportunities. Please check the program for all events at our website www.fednetwork.dk
