🌿 Learning from Malta: How Schools Can Lead Ecosystem Restoration
LEAF Malta showcases how education, outdoor learning, and community action can support ecosystem restoration and long-term environmental stewardship.

One inspiring idea featured is “One Greenhouse Per School,” encouraging young people to grow indigenous trees and take part in meaningful hands-on restoration action that extends beyond the classroom and into the wider community.
"When children grow native trees, they develop patience, responsibility, resilience, stewardship, empathy and care," said Johann Gatt, National Coordinator of LEAF Malta, The Sunday Times of Malta
🌱 Through LEAF, ecosystem restoration becomes a shared journey between learners, educators, families, and communities.
