DISTORCIÒN (2026)
Daliyah is the solo artistic vessel of Bolivian-Danish composer and performer Flavia Huarachi. Her debut album, Distorción, is an acoustic, experimental work that uses sound to document a process of healing. Drawing on her Aymara heritage, the body’s hidden languages, improvised folk melodies and experimental and improvised composition, Daliyah pieces together raw vocals, double bass, flutes, and field recordings to explore the personal and transgenerational impacts of trauma. The result is a surreal form of music—raw, physical, and focused on the slow and chaotic work of reclaiming the self.
