Last week, the projects selected for Bridging Generations back in March delivered their final pitch, showcasing everything they’ve been developing and working on these past months, and we could not be prouder!
So we put together a little photo dump to show off these incredible people who worked so hard to bring their ideas to life and make their projects grow.

The European Writers Club strongly supports the initiative launched by screen.brussels and european cinema.

In a time when Europe’s cultural, economic, and democratic foundations are being tested, this campaign reminds us why storytelling matters — and why investing in audiovisual creation is investing in Europe itself.

Cinema builds bridges across borders, fuels jobs and growth, and keeps our shared values alive. We’re committed to standing with all partners working for a creative, free, and united Europe.

Let’s amplify this message together.

Leaving Torino with full hearts and inspiring results
As we wrap up the 4th and final camp of Bridging Generations / connecting audiences, we’re heading home incredibly proud of what the cross-generational teams have achieved. Over the past months, from France to Sweden, Spain, and finally in Torino, the projects have grown in depth, ambition, and creative clarity.

This week’s Pitch Camp marked a beautiful culmination of that journey. Seeing the participants present their developed projects to a selected group of professionals was a true highlight, a proof to their hard work, collaboration, and courage to explore new formats and ways of connecting with audiences.

We’re deeply grateful for the warm collaboration with TorinoFilmLab.

To all participants: we are incredibly proud of you. Your dedication and generosity throughout the programme have shaped something truly special. Thank you for an unforgettable finale!

Knowing your audience from the earliest stages of development is crucial for anyone involved in creating and airing a TV series. This session, in collaboration with TV Beats Forum 2025, presents a case study on CLEAN, a TV series selected for the 3rd European Writers Club’s accelerator, Bridging Generations / connecting audiences - a pilot initiative supported by the EU.
You will gain insights into audience design and research, conducted in the early stages of development by the Danish audience research agency, PUBLIKUM. The findings and takeaways will be shared alongside the writers, creators, and producer of the series. What is useful to know about your audience? And when should you involve them during story development? The creators behind CLEAN will provide first-hand answers to these questions.   In the panel you will meet: Hanna Leivonniemi and Vivian Säde (writers/creators on CLEAN), Eero Hietala (CEO and producer, Take Two Studios), Niels Alberg (CEO of PUBLIKUM) and Thomas Gammeltoft (head of EWC).

Join us on Monday 17 November, at Apollo Kino Plaza, 1st Lux Hall, Tallinn.
