Out of Balanz Out of Balanz is an award-winning, international performing arts ensemble based in Copenhagen, Denmark. While based in Copenhagen, our vision is global.

We make intercultural, interdisciplinary performances about contemporary existence. Out of Balanz er et konstant skiftende ensemble af internationale kunstnere. Kompagniet har sin daglige base i København. Vores produktioner fejrer den fysiske og visuelle historiefortælling, vi inviterer vores publikummer ind i fantastiske verdener, der tester og bryder grænser for hvordan historier kan blive fort

alt. Kendt for vores alsidighed, teatralske ambitioner og kunstneriske kvalitet, har vi turneret nationalt og internationalt. Out of Balanz is an award-winning multinational, international theatre company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Yesterday, Out of Balanz co-artistic director Katrina Bugaj attended the opening of The Vision for a Better Life in a World in Crisis at the Center for Kunst og Mental Sundhed (CKMS).

Katrina participated in the Photovoice project, exhibition, and panel discussion as part of her PhD research exploring creative methodologies and how places of belonging, community, and encounter can support connected lives. It was inspiring to experience a rich collection of stories, images, and reflections on how we can imagine and create better, and more caring, futures together.

These themes continue to inform and inspire our artistic work at Out of Balanz.

We invite you to take a look at our photographic journey and gain some practical insight into creative, user-led, critical approaches to the field of mental health.

Stort tillykke med den flotte Reumert til hele holdet bag Turbulence✨⁠

Out of Balanz, Dynamo og AFUK Scene modtog i går en af dansk scenekunsts fineste udmærkelser, da Turbulence blev kåret til Årets Særforestilling ved Årets Reumert.⁠
⁠
Juryen hylder fremhæver forestillingens fantasirige og legende skildring af at miste fodfæstet – og den måde, hvorpå kroppene både bogstaveligt og symbolsk kastes ud i kaos, vægtløshed og nye roller.⁠

Prisen er en flot anerkendelse af artisternes præstation og en stærk cirkusforestilling og af samtidscirkus som en kunstform, der med fysisk præcision, kreativitet og kunstnerisk mod skaber fortællinger, der både bevæger, imponerer og udfordrer publikum.⁠
