💼 It’s time we talk about what’s been left out of the workplace wellness conversation.

Menstruation affects over half the workforce — yet it’s rarely acknowledged in professional settings. The result? Lost productivity, stigma, and employees suffering in silence.

We’re changing that.

Join our online workshop: Redefining Menstruation at Work — a candid, professional, and empowering conversation about female health in the workplace.

📍 What’s on the agenda:
✅ Understanding the real impact of menstruation on performance & wellbeing
✅ How organisations can build menstrual-friendly policies
✅ Practical tools for individuals to advocate for their needs at work
✅ Breaking the stigma — together

This isn’t just for women. It’s for every leader, HR professional, and colleague who wants to foster a truly inclusive workplace.

Our salary transparency rights are coming 💰

Denmark’s gender pay gap is 12.9%. For women of colour, it’s always taken more work to close that gap. A new law is about to give you better tools.

Here’s what’s changing 👇

✅ Job ads must include salary ranges

✅ You can request what your colleagues earn

✅ Companies must report their gender pay gap

✅ Gaps over 5% must be explained — or fixed

Denmark’s draft bill was published in early 2026, with rules expected in force from January 2027.

You don’t have to wait though. Start now: 🔹 Ask about pay ranges in interviews 🔹 Document your impact in numbers 🔹 Research market benchmarks before every salary conversation

Knowledge is leverage. Use it. 💡

“I had no village, so I built a system”

📣ProConnect with Evelyne Kabemba Kaniki (Library - Esbjerg Kommune)

What does it really take to build a fulfilling life when you have no village to support you?

🗓️This 25 April, Evelyne Kabemba will join us for an honest conversation about professional ambition, motherhood, and the myth of work-life balance.
She will share her experience as a foreign professional navigating work, family, and personal growth without the support structures many of us take for granted.

This isn’t a talk about doing it all. It’s about doing it with intention.

In this session, Evelyne will talk about.
✨Why chasing balance may be the wrong goal
✨How thinking in seasons changes everything

👀What it looks like to build systems that actually fit your life.

🎙️You bring more than Your CV into the room

— For many in the professional sphere, resilience isn’t a trait. It’s a daily practice. Here’s how to channel it with intention — and how ProWoc has your back. —

There is a particular kind of strength that women who know their worth bring to their careers.

It is the kind that rarely makes it into job descriptions or performance reviews. It is the strength of showing up fully — again and again — even when the environment doesn’t always make room for you.

That strength is real. And so is the energy it costs.

At ProWoc, we believe you deserve a strong support system by your side every step of the way.

So here are three things that actually help:

🎞️→ Reframe the question. When you feel depleted, don’t ask what you’re doing wrong. Ask: what in this environment is draining me — and what can I change or remove?

🧰→ Build your community before you need it. Colleagues who get it. A mentor who can help you read a room. A space where you don’t have to explain yourself from scratch. That’s not a luxury — it’s a career necessity.

🌸→ Rest is a professional strategy. It’s the foundation for clear decisions, sustained performance, and a career that actually goes the distance.

And if you need a reminder of what’s possible — read a ProCelebrate story. Where we shine a light on the journeys of our members.

🗝️Because when you’re surrounded by people who understand your experience, you spend less energy explaining yourself and more energy doing the work you’re here to do.

As we close the first quarter — and International Women’s Month — we reflect on what it truly means to build not just for ourselves, but for the generations that follow.

This month’s blog feature explores that idea through: ‘Three Generations of Yvette: What We Inherit, What We Choose, What We Build’ — a story of how possibility evolves across time.

✨ Ambassador Yvette Stevens imagined a life beyond what she knew.
✨ Her daughter, Yvette Miata Petersen turned that possibility into her own.
✨ Her granddaughter, Olivia Yvette Petersen now moves with purpose and impact.

Three generations. One continuous expansion of what is possible.

Across diplomacy, global industry, and early career, their journeys show that legacy is not something we inherit passively — it is something we shape, challenge, and carry forward.

✨ ProWoc Celebrates March 2026 ✨
ProWoc is pleased to recognise Miriam Stetz.

👩🏽‍🔬Who is Miriam?
Miriam is a BSc. Student in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at Aalborg University (AAU) in Esbjerg. She is passionate about sustainability in industries and aspires to become a chemical engineer. In her free time, she loves reading, connecting with new people, and singing in a local choir.

😄 Miriam on smiling as a bridge building tool:
“Getting someone to smile at a comment or laugh at a joke has enough impact on some days. Although it might seem small, connecting to others in such a way brightens both their and my day, and ideally makes both of us feel seen and accepted. It will also aid in any future interaction, since we remember each other positively. ”

⏩Miriam’s most meaningful advice received:
“The advice that is the most meaningful to me is not from anyone specific, but from the general pool of human wisdom: “Progress over perfection. It’s better to take small steps towards your goals than to wait for the perfect time and place to start”. Non-linear progress is the most natural progress, and it will still get you there if you keep at it.”
