The final meeting of the season at Copenhagen International Rotary Club was filled with inspiring stories, meaningful connections, and memorable moments.
We were delighted to hear from Jesper, our 16-year-old outbound Rotary Youth Exchange student, who will soon embark on an exciting year in the USA. Jesper introduced himself and shared his expectations for the adventure ahead.
We also enjoyed a video presentation from Alexandra, our incoming exchange student from Peru, who will soon arrive in Denmark for her exchange year. We look forward to welcoming her to our Rotary family.
A special highlight of the evening was a fascinating presentation by our esteemed member Dorothy Goldberg, who shared the story of her three unexpected life journeys. Through her reflections, we discovered her remarkable talents as a singer, journalist, and a spiritual person.
We were also honoured to welcome Rizwan Kaiser Din, Dorothy’s son-in-law and President of the Arusha Rotary Club in Tanzania. He talked about the impactful work of his club and the Rotary community in Tanzania.
The meeting concluded with a renewal ritual created and led by Dorothy. It was a moving, engaging experience, and it made us reconnect with the things that matter most in our lives.
