STUDENT EXPERT AT THE NSAC 2026 CONFERENCE! Introducing our next student expert Emily. 💙🎓

Hi everyone!
My name is Emily de Connick, I’m 24 years old and originally from Stockholm. I’m very excited to be a student expert at the conference! I graduated from University College London in September 2024, where I studied BASc (Bachelor of Arts and Sciences), which is kind of like the UK’s version of the liberal arts system in America. I mostly focused on modules in Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Business. This year, I have completed a Masters programme in Management and Lund University.

I joined NSAC in 2018, and I truly think it’s been incredibly valuable to me and my dream of studying abroad. When I joined, I was 16 and had just started my first year of high school in Sweden, but I already knew I wanted to study at a top university. The problem was that there wasn’t much help or information available around me. Not only did NSAC and the conference help with guidance and tips, but being a part of them was so motivating and inspiring. I genuinely believe they both played a huge role in me actually applying and eventually going abroad.

After graduation, I started as a Sales Management Intern at a company called Henkel, which has been really fulfilling and rewarding, as I’ve learned so much about corporate life. This September, I’ll be starting my Master’s in Management at Lund University, and I’m very excited to experience Swedish student life.

If you have any questions about studying at UCL or anything else I’ve mentioned, feel free to drop me a message emily de connick. See you at the conference! :)) 🔗🌎📚

STUDENT EXPERT AT THE NSAC CONFERENCE 2026💙🎓🌍

Introducing our first student expert that you will be able to meet at this year’s NSAC Conference, Mikkeline!

Hi, my name is Mikkeline. Two years ago, I graduated from University of Cambridge with a BA in Education, Psychology, and Learning and am starting the last year of my Psychology master at KU in the fall. I have loved studying in the UK, being a part of an inspiring academic community, and meeting some amazing people. I was first introduced to Cambridge and my degree at the NSAC conference in 2019 and was inspired to apply even though I knew nothing about it or how to get there. If you have any questions whether it’s about getting there, being there, or coming back, come find me at the conference :)
