Sorry for the silence!

It has been way too long, since our last post and we apologize for that. We had originally planned for our annual conference to take place yet again in February, however, that did not go as planned. We have been very short staffed and therefore we are in need of YOUR help!

Are you or perhaps one of your friends the next member of DanMUN? We need people to fulfil the following volunteer positions:

We are happy to announce our last speaker at DanMUN Conference 2019!

Billy O’Connor is the Public Diplomacy Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Copenhagen. At DanMUN Conference 2019 he will talk about US withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and the impacts that it had and will have in future. Also, he will discuss the implications that Iran had continued to research into nuclear weapons which are not in compliance with the JCPOA.

We are happy to announce our second speaker at DanMUN Conference 2019!

Adérito R. Vicente is a Ph.D. researcher in the Department of Political and Social Sciences (SPS) at the European University Institute (EUI). He holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations, and a M.A. with distinction in International Relations from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (NOVA).

DanMUN Conference 2019 will take place from 14 - 17 February at Frederiksberg Palace, see you in a month!

We are really excited to announce our first speaker for DanMUN Conference 2019.

Achilles Skordas is Professor of International Law at the University of Bristol and Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg. His topic will be ‘Iran and International Security: From the JCPOA to the International Court of Justice’
