🌍 Empowering youth to influence SDG implementation
This week marks the fourth year of our learning programme bringing together members of Danish Embassies’ Youth Sounding Boards (YSBs), youth ambassadors from the East African Community, and young leaders from partner organisations across Africa and Denmark.
They arrived Friday, and we have already covered topics like the 2030 Agenda, strengthened our understanding of stakeholder mapping, examined the importance of civic space, and discussed how innovative partnerships can drive meaningful change. Participants have also sharpened their advocacy skills and begun developing action plans to address key challenges and opportunities in their own communities.
What stands out most is the energy, commitment, and creativity of the participants. Across countries and contexts, they share a common ambition: to ensure that young people’s voices are heard.
The coming days will see participants further develop their action plans and put their learning into practice at The People’s Meeting on Bornholm, where they will design and facilitate their own events at the SDG Platform.
