Silba Aarhus is a cross-political youth organization, which purpose is to inform and learn about Eastern Europe culturally and politically.

Silba Aarhus is a cross-policy youth organization, which purpose is to inform and learn about Eastern Europe culturally and politically. On a local level, SilbaAarhus organises events with both social, cultural and political content. As an example, we have hosted the very successful "Tasting Eastern Europe" dinners, where Eastern Europeans has had the chance to show young Danes and each other the

wonders of the Eastern European cuisine. Moreover, Silba has hosted political presentations, movie nights etc. On a national level, Silba hosts elections observations where a team of election observers visits Eastern European countries in which elections are being held and observes how these are being played out.

🇭🇺 Kom med, når Silba Aarhus inviterer til en aften om det ungarske valg! 🇭🇺

🎙️Det ungarske valg står for døren d. 12. april 2026. Derfor har Silba inviteret lektor Peter Bugge fra Aarhus Universitet og tidligere konsul Heine Sveistrup til at komme og fortæller om valgets betydning, både for Ungarn og resten af Europa. 🇪🇺🇭🇺

🥟 Mleko Bar disker desuden op med lækkert østeuropæisk mad og snacks - helt gratis! Drikkevarer kan købes i baren.

Henrik, Aske, Hans Kristian, and Sille from Silba’s local board in Aarhus went on an EOM mission to Moldova two weeks ago to observe the parliamentary elections. EOM is one of the things Silba is known for - we go out into the world to observe elections in other countries, and the observations we make are compiled into a joint report together with other young participants. It’s an incredible opportunity to experience another country and see firsthand the impact of our work. Swipe through the slides to hear about our different experiences from the trip!
