🇧🇦 Today, SILBA Aalborg visited the Bosnian Embassy in Copenhagen 🇧🇦

We had an insightful and inspiring conversation with Ambassador Anesa Kundurović Milkahl about the current political climate, the upcoming elections, and the important work diplomats do. We are very grateful for her time, warm welcome, and thoughtful reflections 💛

Afterwards, we shared a meal together before heading to the bus station to begin our journey back to Aalborg 🚌

SILBA Aalborg has been given the opportunity to visit the Bosnian Embassy of Denmark in Copenhagen🇩🇰, and you are all invited!🎉

Join us for an insightful look into democratic work 🏛️, where we will collaborate with the embassy to learn about the country’s political situation, the upcoming election in October 🗳️, and gain valuable knowledge about the embassy’s work.

This is an event for everyone who is already a member of the local organisation - or interested in becoming one 🤝

📍 Where: Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Copenhagen

🗓️ When: 15th of May at 13:00

🥪 Afterwards, lunch will be provided for everyone.

🚆 All expenses, including travel and food, are covered in collaboration with Tuborgfundet🙏

We’re excited to invite our members to a Cross Political Tour de Chambre in collaboration with 9 other political youth organisations 🎉

We’ll be visiting each other’s headquarters and ending the night with a shared party, which we (Silba Aalborg), will host together with Europæisk Ungdom Aalborg. It is a great chance to meet new people and experience different communities in Aalborg.

💛Thank you to everyone who joined our General Assembly 💛

We were honestly surprised (in the best way) by how many people showed up, and especially by how many ran for the board. We had so many strong candidates that it was genuinely difficult to choose.

A huge thank you to our outgoing board, who started Silba Aalborg just 8 months ago. We’re incredibly proud of how quickly this has grown into such a dedicated and engaged community.

And a warm welcome to our new board and auditors! The board is now even bigger than before, and we’re excited for the next term and everything we’ll build together.

Our General Assembly is coming up on 12 February 🗓️

At the GA we’ll reflect on the past term and establish a new board for the year ahead. This post gives an overview of the different board roles, in case you’re curious about getting involved 💛
