Kenya-ChildVision e.V. K-CV e.V. is an organization committed to contributing to the reduction of poverty in the kenyan villages. In the initial programming, K-CV will focus on empowering young people, address challenges around primary health care, educational support, skills development and mentorship to break into careers, business, income generation, diminishing the impact of HIV and associated
impact, provision of primary health care, reproductive health for young women, and support for those affected by drug abuse to engage in meaningful life in some Coastal and Western part of Kenya. The aim is to offer opportunity and support to develop resilience in communities affected by poverty so that the children grow up in an environment where they can meaningfully tap into their environment, contribute meaningfully and in a dignified manner to eradicate poverty. In Kenya as in many African Countries, the effects of poverty strikes where the people are most vulnerable, these are Unemployment, War and Conflict, poor social infrastructure and the constantly diminishing social cultural support as family are separated with most young adults migrating into cities in such of employment. K-CV focuses on research, organising communities and building networks in supporting children especially orphans attend and remain at school, provide training on adapting to climate change challenges, provide basic knowledge in natural resource management, value chain addition, table banking and women groups social support, exchange programs for teachers and pupils to learn about opportunities that are outside their area. Through this program K-CV hopes to contribute to reduce the effect of poverty in the selected communities. K-CV believes strongly in the Humanitarian Accountability protocol where the need to empower communities demands that we are accountable to them and to those who provide the support to enable us fulfil this mandate. Der Verein unterstützt die Förderung von Bildung, Erziehung, Ernährung und medizinischer Grundversorgung verwaister Kinder, Jugendlicher und verwitweter Frauen und Männer in drei kenianischen Dörfern. Ziel ist die nachhaltige Verbesserung der Lebensperspektive mit Zielsetzung Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe. Dadurch können vor allem Kinder in ihrer kulturellen Umgebung ein eigenständiges und sozial gesichertes Leben führen. In Kenia, wie auch in vielen anderen afrikanischen Ländern, trifft die Armut hauptsächlich Kinder. Unsere besondere Aufmerksamkeit richten wir daher auf die Kinder. Im Fokus liegt hierbei insbesondere die Verbesserung der Ausbildung. Dies soll mit Hilfe von Geld-und Sachspenden erfolgen. Ihre Spende kommt hier direkt und ohne Umwege zum Tragen.
