🚗💛 Some things matter more than points.

A fellow Skinflint team had their car impounded last night, so we sacrificed our final three hours of potential point scoring to help them get it out of the compound.

Would we do it again? Absolutely.

That’s what Round Table is about — helping others when they need you. Winning Skinflint would be brilliant. Being there for your mates matters far more.

It’s probably safe to say the hat-trick is off this year! 🏆😂 Good luck to all the other teams — give it everything, lads.

Big Craig’s already claiming the award for roadside support. To be fair, he’s been a very cuddly crisis manager. 🧸

Onwards we go. Still smiling, still enjoying the day, still raising money for a cause that matters.

🚗🇫🇷 AND WE’RE OFF! 🐻

Day one of the Skinflint 2026 “Naughty But Nice” Challenge is officially underway, and today we’re heading for Dijon, France.

We’ve got points to collect, challenges to complete and plenty of opportunities to make complete idiots of ourselves along the way.

The really encouraging news?

We’ve started on MINUS 75 POINTS. 😂

Apparently being previous winners comes with a penalty… and so does me having the Skinflint tattoo.

So, to the Points Master: thank you very much. You’re an arse. ❤️

Meanwhile, Big Craig has turned up with a completely clean disciplinary record and is already questioning the professionalism of the rest of the team. Craig couldn’t make it; somehow the teddy bear is currently our most reliable member.

But underneath all the nonsense, there’s a proper reason we’re doing this.

We’re raising money for Family Care Trust and its Newlands Bishop Farm project, supporting people with learning disabilities to build skills, confidence, independence and fuller lives. 💛🙌

So while we attempt to claw our way back from -75, you can help us put a much more important number up.

🚗🐻 And we’re off — Skinflint 2026 has officially begun.

We’ve left Solihull and started the first leg of the journey down to Folkestone, where we’ll spend the night before the proper madness begins tomorrow morning.

The car is packed, spirits are high, and we are fully equipped with Nick’s trusty Big Road Atlas of Europe — as faithful as ever — plus, of course, the famous blue folder, because no serious European expedition should ever rely entirely on modern technology. 📘🗺️

Big Craig has already settled into the passenger seat and appears to have appointed himself Head of Navigation. Whether he can actually read the atlas remains unconfirmed, but his confidence is exceptional. 🧸

Tomorrow we properly begin the Skinflint 2026 “Naughty But Nice” rally, heading from Folkestone across to Calais and then on through Dijon, Turin, Monaco and ultimately Nice.

We’re doing all of this to raise money for the Family Care Trust, whose Newlands Bishop Farm project helps people develop independence, skills, confidence and meaningful opportunities within the community.
