Auf dem Weg zum Tourbeginn im Vorprogramm mit „The Libertines“ legen „The Broken Beats“ einen Stopp in Wetzlar ein. -Die Idee kam kurzfristig, das Franzis liegt strategisch günstig auf dem Weg und die Bühne kennen die Dänen schon seit Mitte der 2000er. Seither haben sie viele Clubshows hinter sich und sind sie mit den Libertines, Amy Winehouse, Asaf Avidan und vielen mehr um die Welt getourt. Nun sind The Broken Beats mit ihrem neuen Album "Riviera Dreams" zurück, das im September 2025 erscheinen soll. Dreh- und Angelpunkt der Band ist Frontmann Kim Munk, der sich zu einer bedeutenden Figur in der dänischen Alternative-Rockszene gemausert hat. Seit seinen frühen musikalischen Gehversuchen als Teenager, der vom Sound von Grunge und Alternative Rock besessen war, hat sich Munk im Laufe seiner Karriere einen Ruf für seine elektrisierende Bühnenpräsenz und seine Fähigkeit, mit dem Publikum auf einer emotionalen Ebene in Verbindung zu treten, erworben. Ob mit den Broken Beats oder solo, er verströmt die gleiche Energie, die ihn zuerst zur Musik hingezogen hat: eine Mischung aus Intensität, Rebellion und die Weigerung, Kompromisse einzugehen.

It all kicks off in Franzis, Wetzlar, Germany, on February 12, 2025, where The Broken Beats will ignite a four-day rampage of pure musical madness before crashing into Switzerland for two jaw-dropping, eardrum-tickling, mind-melting shows on February 13 and 14 alongside The Libertines.

And just when you think it couldn’t get any wilder—BOOM—February 15 hits, and The Broken Beats return to where it all began, where the family was first formed, torn apart, and now gloriously reunited for another round of Good Days™. This magical homecoming takes place in none other than the shiny, golden, skyline-studded wonderland of Frankfurt (am Main).
Here, in the mystical and musical Lotte Lindenberg studio, The Broken Beats will bring the house down under the watchful eye of the one and only Wolfgang Gotlieb, a.k.a. Kanoka One, mastermind behind the (in)famous, legendary Hazelwood record label.

heute vorm Franzis besucht und sind , ordentlich mit schwarzem Gold bepackt, mit vollen Taschen nach Hause gewankt und sitzen nun wohl an Ihren Plattenspielern , im den analogen sound zu genießen.
