On May 25th, our alumni had the chance to talk to H.E. Oleksii Makeiev, Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany. The event was hosted by Marco Vietor (D 2004) and Christoph Israng (D 1995).

H.E. Oleksii Makeiev gave an interesting speech and shared valuable insights on the topic: Ukraine and Germany – Facing War in Europe.
The speech was followed by a Q&A session, which enabled WHUler to ask their individual questions on the topic.

In this session, Raphael is going to share some key insights on how he built up a sales process and pipeline and grew his company PROJEKT FORTSCHRITT from one man show to a bootstrapped 4 person consulting company in less than 1 year, mostly through organic LinkedIN customer acquisition.

On april 15 to 16 the B.Sc. 2015 (29. Jhg.) celebrated their reunion in Berlin. 🏙
It was a weekend filled with enjoying delicious food together, catching up on eachother and having a great time! 🎉🙌🏻

Last week the kick off event for our new event series “Food for Thought” took place on WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management campus in Düsseldorf. Alumni and students got together to enjoy their breakfast and exchange ideas. 🥪💡
Prof. Dr. Sascha L. Schmidt, Center for Sports and Management, gave an impulse speech on "The future of sport for athletes, consumers, and management" followed by a lively discussion. 💬
The format will now take place every 2 months in Düsseldorf - with alternating impulses.
Thanks to all involved, we are looking forward to the next session! 🙌🏻

📅 One month ago the WHU Founder Lecture: Building and Scaling Successful Companies took place. Alumni speakers gave the WHU students valuable insights on their journey as successful founders and their corporate practice.

The lecture was initiated and organized by Marco Vietor (D 2004) & Christian Baumgart (BSc 2017).
Thanks to all participants and guest speakers who made this lecture series possible! 🙌🏻
