Objectives
Sri Lanka is going through a difficult period due to a number of malpractices and illegal activities of politicians, current and past, who ruled the country. At the Global Centre for Monitoring Political, and Economic Crimes in Sri Lanka, we aim to;
• Raise global awareness of these political and financial crimes to prevent these politicians and allies from seeking refuge in these countries
• Document their crimes and collect evidence to hold them accountable in national or international courts
• Use legal measures to bring stolen money back into Sri Lanka
• Campaign against the Golden Passport system and other similar mechanisms being misused by these corrupt politicians to avoid accountability for their crimes in Sri Lanka.
