Latest Information on the Action at BER on October 24, 2026:
Dear friends, we’re very excited to send a strong message against deportations and pre-deportation detention tomorrow. To ensure that everyone who wants to participate can do so and feels as safe as possible, here’s some final information.
Traveling Together: It would be great if as many people as possible joined the group trip from Berlin and Potsdam so that we can all arrive together for a planned banner drop and a group photo. Important: From the moment you’re all on the S-Bahn together, you may be filmed because our meeting point has been publicly announced, the press has been invited, and—in the worst-case scenario—far-right streamers may be there. If you suspect that far-right streamers are at the meeting point or in the group, please contact the organizers or awareness team members who will be traveling with you from Ostkreuz.
At the terminal, we’d like to take an action photo and ask everyone to sit down—of course, this only applies to people who want to participate. Everyone else is welcome to simply step out of the picture.
By the time of the rally at the latest, the press will likely be on site, and there will be press contacts available to speak with. If you feel unsure or uncomfortable in any situation, check in with your support people and/or the security/awareness team.
Since we’ll hopefully have too many people for a rally inside the terminal, we’ll likely have to move outside—but we want to leave the terminal as slowly as possible. However, since part of the rally will take place outside, please keep that in mind when planning what to wear or bring.
At our rally—in addition to an extra-great, powerful atmosphere, action photos, and a banner drop—you can also expect:
Speeches and music, including performances by Women in Exile, Sea Watch, Basem Said, people affected by detention at BER, and several others.
We hope everyone has a great time!
