Are you looking for funding for your next international visual arts project? 🌎🎨

ifa supports international exchange in contemporary visual arts through two funding programmes:

🔹 Exhibition Funding supports non-commercial exhibitions of contemporary visual artists who have been living in Germany for at least five years. Funding is available for projects presented abroad, including travel, transporting artwork and technical equipment.

🔹 Artists' Contacts supports international collaboration between artists, curators, art mediators, architects, designers, cultural institutions and other eligible visual arts professionals from Germany and countries on the DAC list. Funding is available for projects such as research trips, residencies, workshops, conferences and exhibitions.

Deadline: 30 September 2026

Both programmes promote artistic exchange, strengthen international networks and support projects that engage with socially relevant issues.

Welcome, CCP Fellows 2026! 🌎

From 19-22 July, 22 Fellows from around the world gathered in Stuttgart for our Transcultural Workshop. Over four inspiring days, they exchanged ideas, built connections and gained insights into each other’s work.

From feminist empowerment in urban spaces in Mexico and Guatemala to trauma work in Armenia and q***r filmmaking in India, the workshop showed the diversity of topics, perspectives and backgrounds that CCP Fellows bring to the programme. It also showed the value of sharing these experiences in a caring and open atmosphere. 🎥 🌈

Welcome to the ifa community! We are happy to have this cohort join the programme and wish all Fellows a meaningful CCP Fellowship. 💫

How can justice become a reality?

Today, on World Day for , we're highlighting the many ways justice can be strengthened. At Ifa - Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen, we work with and support people who advocate for , cultural freedom, and international cooperation – contributing to a more just future by:

🔸 exploring accountability and victims' rights in our podcast episode "Making Justice a Reality" featuring Deborah Ruiz Verduzco
🔸amplifying conversations on climate justice through a decolonial lens
🔸protecting artists at risk through the Martin Roth-Initiative
🔸supporting human rights defenders through the Elisabeth-Selbert-Initiative
🔸creating space for global perspectives on human rights at KULTURAUSTAUSCH
🔸showcasing how art can challenge injustice through stories like the one of CCP alumna Alina Chaudry.

Justice begins by listening and creating space for those whose voices are too often silenced. 📣
