Debating Society Germany e.V. is a non-profit organisation formed in 1996 to facilitate the development of schools debating

We are the umbrella organisation in Germany for schools debating in the English language. Founded by ex-debaters, the association was then managed by Angelika Höness & Michael Pates. From 2009-2013 it has been lead by Dave Whitehead & Christopher Sanchez. As of May 2013, Christopher Sanchez has been elected chairman with Jana Gilke (until 2016), Klaus-Peter Heil (until 2019) and Vivian Schreier (since 2019) as co-chairpersons.

📣This year's prepared motions at WSDC Kenya:
1. This House Supports Kenya's Special Economic Zones
2. This House Would classify all major organised crime groups as terrorist organisations
📜According to a rule change, only two prepared motions will be debated at WSDC, where before there were four.
