TRAINING ROOM: Panzer Kaserne, Bldg. 2915, Room 007 Armed Forces with their families during a crisis. Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, the Red Cross quickly sends emergency communications to deployed service members on behalf of their family. Military members can have peace of mind knowing that when they are on a mission, in training or stationed far from home-and leaving cell phones and emails behind-they are still connected to home. While providing service to 1.4 million active duty military personnel and their families, the Red Cross also reaches out to more than 1.2 million members of the National Guard and Reserves and their families living in nearly every community in America. Red Cross workers in hundreds of chapters and on military installations briefed 974,573 departing service members and their families regarding available support services, and explained how the Red Cross may assist them during the deployment. Both active duty and community-based military can count on the Red Cross to provide emergency communications that link them with their families back home, access to financial assistance in partnership with the military aid societies, information and referral and assistance to veterans. Red Cross personnel form a global network in 700 U.S. chapters, military installations worldwide and in forward deployed locations in Kuwait, Afghanistan and Iraq.

Smoke Alarm Reminder 🚨
When was the last time you tested your smoke alarms?
Working smoke alarms are an important part of home fire safety. Take a few minutes this month to check the alarms in your home and make sure everyone knows what they sound like.
A simple monthly check can help your household stay more prepared. ❤️

True or false: Cardiac arrest and a heart attack are the same thing?

Cardiac arrest happens when the heart suddenly stops beating effectively, preventing blood from circulating to the brain and other vital organs. Red Cross
One thing to remember when someone suddenly collapses, is unresponsive, and isn't breathing normally:
Call. CPR. AED.

❤️ A Great Start to Flu Season at Patch Clinic!

Today marked the kickoff of the Influenza Vaccine Campaign at U.S. Army Health Clinic Stuttgart and our American Red Cross volunteers were there to lend a helping hand! 💉

A big thank-you to Nurse Dawn and our newest ARC volunteer, Combat Medic SPC Rimar, for administering vaccines and supporting our community!

Behind the scenes, our wonderful wayfinders Hayden, Lilah, Rose, Evelyn, and Stephanie helped keep everything running smoothly, guiding community members and making sure everyone knew where to go.

👏 We’re incredibly grateful for our volunteers who showed up, stepped in, and helped make one of Patch Clinic’s busiest community events a success!

Thank you for representing the American Red Cross and making a difference in our Stuttgart community! ❤️

The Stuttgart Community Spouses' Club (SCSC) is launching Operation Angel Tree and we need your help to reach families who could benefit from the program.

What is Operation Angel Tree? Operation Angel Tree is a cherished tradition that helps bring holiday joy to families by connecting generous donors with families in need of a little extra cheer. The identities of families are kept anonymous and every effort is made to maintain their privacy. SCSC's goal is to make the season bright for our community.

Who is Operation Angel Tree for? Operation Angel Tree is for families who may need help this holiday season. We require that they are DOD ID cardholders with SOFA status and that children are under the age of 18 as of December 31st, 2026.

You may consider referring the program to:

Families experiencing economic hardship regardless of rank/grade
Families receiving support through WIC or SNAP
Families E-1 to E-5, O-1 to O-2, GS 1-6 and NAF equivalents
Families with 4 or more children

What you can do: Please refer Operation Angel Tree to families who meet the criteria. We ask you to share the link to our application form if they would like to participate. You can also share, via email or printed copy, the attached flyer with a QR code to the application and answers to FAQs about the program.

You can begin referring families now. We will have rolling deadlines for consideration starting Friday, October 9th, 2026 at 5 pm and ending Friday, October 23rd at 5 pm. Families who return their materials early have a higher likelihood of being selected.
