🌱 DAY 2 — Building smarter cities!

Today, the participants started with Build Your City workshop! 🏙️✨ In teams, they created their own cities and made investment decisions to make them more sustainable and efficient.

They then took part in debates on different topics, sharing opinions, exchanging ideas and challenging each other’s perspectives. 💬🌍

To end the day, they discovered what SMART really means and started working on a few tasks that will take them one step further tomorrow… 👀💡

Today we officially started our Erasmus+ project here in Stuttgart! 🇩🇪✨

We kicked off the morning with get-to-know-each-other activities and energizers, creating the first connections within the group.

Throughout the day, we:
🤝 got to know each other through fun activities and games
🌱 worked in teams to find sustainable solutions to different challenges
💡 shared ideas and looked at everyday problems from different perspectives
🏙️ explored Stuttgart through a city tour and discovered more about our host city
From breaking the ice to finding sustainable solutions and exploring the city together — Day 1 was all about getting to know the people, the topic and the place.

Today we officially started our Erasmus+ project here in Stuttgart! 🇩🇪✨

We kicked off the morning with get-to-know-each-other activities and energizers, creating the first connections within the group.

The Water Matters Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Project has come to an end, but the memories, ideas, and actions created throughout this journey will continue to flow. ✨

During the project, young people from different backgrounds came together to explore the importance of water, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. Through workshops, discussions, outdoor activities, and non-formal learning, participants discovered new perspectives and learned how small actions can make a big difference.

From understanding water challenges to creating solutions together, every moment reminded us that protecting our planet starts with awareness, collaboration, and the willingness to act. 💙

This final video captures the experiences, connections, and unforgettable moments that shaped our journey.

Developed through the Water Matters Erasmus+ project, this manual brings together educational methods, practical activities, and learning experiences designed to empower youth workers and educators to engage young people in conversations about water, sustainability, and environmental responsibility.

More than a training resource, it is an invitation to inspire action, encourage critical thinking, and strengthen our collective commitment to protecting one of our planet’s most valuable resources.

Join St'Art of Harmony, an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange focused on using creative arts to promote inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and peacebuilding.

💬 Who can apply?
• Young people aged 18–26
• Motivated and open-minded participants
• Interested in art, intercultural learning, peacebuilding and yoga
• Newcomers oriented and prioritised
• Young people with fewer opportunities are encouraged
• No artistic experience needed

We are excited to share the YUM – Youth Uniting Minds: Embracing Diversity through Meals Multicultural Cookbook, now available on the SALTO Youth Toolbox! 📖✨Link in bio!

More than just a collection of recipes, this cookbook is the result of intercultural encounters, meaningful conversations, and shared experiences among young people from different countries and backgrounds. Through food, we discovered new cultures, challenged stereotypes, and found common ground in our diversity.

Every dish tells a story. Every recipe reflects a tradition, a memory, or a piece of identity. Together, they remind us that understanding often begins with something as simple as sharing a meal.
