About the MIC-Project.
The MIC-Project presented by My Chi-le e.V.
My Chi-le e.V is a German organization founded in January 2014. Its founders were brought together by their shared interest in the preservation of international cultural cooperation, promotion of literacy, education and cultural activities as well as international understanding.
The Mission Statement of my Chi-le e.V is to foster a better world through ethical & effective communications. In the pursuit of this purpose our organization has developed a Project that seeks to change the way second languages are taught along with other objectives.This project is called The MIC-Project.
This project proposes the inclusion of cultural activities or Multiverses, as they are called in our organization: Art, Music, Literature, Dance, Sports, Gastronomy, History, Crafts, Theater, Science and Engineering, just to mention a few, in the process people live while acquiring-learning a second language.
The MIC-Project considers the inclusion of these Multiverses important because the interaction between educators and students changes the way the culture behind the language is understood and it changes because though structure, grammar and vocabulary are very important a language is much more than just that; it is about what the language embodies within itself; the history of its land and the emotions of its people, it is about their journey; a journey that should not be ignored when transmitting/acquiring languages.
With the trust, collaboration and sponsorship of many people My Chi-le e.V. has a place to start The MIC-Project in September 2015. This place is the Bürgerhaus in Straßlach-Dingharting. The MIC-Project is an invitation to everyone who is interested in learning English “British & American”, Latin-American Spanish or German (a program for foreigners) to do it by experiencing the culture behind the chosen language.
The event on the 28th of June has one objective only and this is to show you our method. Come & experience “The Doing Method”
