The Sembach clubs are excited to invite you to another summer of great food, cool drinks, and good company!

Join us every Tuesday during the summer holidays starting at 6:30 PM in the courtyard of the Bürgerhaus Sembach. Each week, a different local club will host the evening and serve a special food item.

Visiting the Kaiserslautern Wildpark is free all year. It is located within the Pfalzerwald (Pfalz forest) on the east side of Kaiserslautern, adjacent to the Betzenberg neighborhood near the stadium. It is integrated into the forest and has no main entrance, which makes it fun to stumble upon during a hike in the woods.

The forest location of the wildpark was specifically chosen over 50 years ago because it is a patch of old-growth wood and contains trees over 130 years old. This setting enhances the goal of the Wildpark to introduce visitors to the native environment and animals that would have occupied European forests long ago, including two extinct species.

The Pfälzerwald (Palatinate Forest) is the largest contiguous forest area in Germany, and if you're stationed in the KMC it's right in your backyard. Its historical development dates back to the 1950s with the founding of the Nature Park, which was placed under preservation protection in 1967. Those preservation efforts were even expanded in the 1980s: Germans are serious about protecting their forest areas.

Whether you are a seasoned long-distance hiker or just looking to take a leisurely stroll and perhaps see one of the 150 castles in the forest, there are plenty of trails. Within the biosphere portion, there are roughly 80 hiking starting points and over 100 huts to stop at along the trails. These huts offer a place to rest your feet, grab a hearty meal to fuel further hiking and, of course, some tasty local Palatinate wine. The most dedicated of hikers can take part in the Palatinate Forest Hiking Marathon which is held annually on the last Sunday of October.

Join the musicians of the Musikverein Sembach as they take you on a journey into the magical world of Hollywood stars.

The Musikverein Sembach 1984 e.V. invites you to this year’s concert on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sembach Multipurpose Hall.

Let the theme “Oscar Nights” transport you to melodies from classic and modern Oscar-winning music, such as James Bond or Disney tunes, and join us in immersing yourself in the magical world of Hollywood stars.

Get ready for a musical Oscar ceremony of a special kind.

As is customary at a real Oscar ceremony, a photographer will be on site to capture the evening’s most beautiful moments, both of the musicians and the guests.

We cordially invite you to this musical highlight and look forward to welcoming many listeners from Sembach and the surrounding area.
