What an edition 2026 that was and we are starting the ticket sale now (read below !)
We're still sitting here with big smiles on our faces, looking back on the last festival — the heat we endured (and somehow even celebrated), the new faces that joined us, and all those moments you simply can't plan, yet somehow they happen anyway.
Thank you for being there, for taking part, for helping make it happen, and for sharing so many laughs. Once again, you reminded us what this festival is really all about.
And now... 2027!?
Like every year, we're getting ready to make the next edition happen.
This time, however, we're facing a few challenges that we don't want to sugarcoat. Public funding is being reduced, and our core team continues to work entirely on a voluntary basis — with all the natural limits that come with that. Writing and administering funding applications has simply become more than we can realistically manage.
Commercial sponsorship is not an option for us — that's just not what this festival is about. Smaller partners, supporters, and like-minded collaborators, however, are always more than welcome.
We know the minimum amount we need!
Our first priority is paying the artists fairly and covering their travel, accommodation, catering, and technical requirements.
That alone requires €25,000.
Another €10,000 is needed for food and drink supplies, volunteer compensation for our team, and maintaining and improving the festival infrastructure.
Growing bigger isn't an option. The site has always had limited capacity, and over the last two years we've clearly felt the effects of welcoming more and more people.
>> Early Bird: August 1 – October 31, 2026
The next Avantgarde Festival will take place 18–20 June 2027, and ticket sales start NOW—with an Early Bird phase and a slightly revised ticket structure.
The three-day festival ticket includes all meals throughout the festival and, if all goes according to plan, admission to the local outdoor swimming pool. Unfortunately, whether the pool is open depends on the official start of the swimming season, so we can't guarantee this.
As always, tickets follow our solidarity principle:
Regular: €125 (yes, more than last year)
If you can afford to give a little more: €150
If money is tight: €100
The Early Bird is about much more than getting your all-inclusive ticket.
>> For us, it is absolutely essential!
>> We need to sell at least 100 Early Bird tickets. Only then will we have enough financial security to commit to artist bookings and officially begin the booking process for the 2027 festival.

Regular Ticket Sales: until Sunday, June 6, 2027
After the Early Bird period, regular ticket sales begin.
The three-day festival ticket remains €125, but no longer includes meals.
A catering package can be added for €45.
The solidarity pricing remains the same:
