Wir über uns

Im Jahr 2005 gründete sich der erbstromtalweite ökumenische 1Welt- Kreis. Wir sind ein Gemeindekreis, kein Verein. Zu unserem Gemeindekreis gehören Gemeindeglieder aus mehreren evangelischen und katho- lischen Kirchgemeinden des Erbstromtales, also aus Ruhla, Thal, Kittelsthal, Seebach - und sogar Eisenach und Erfurt, obwohl diese Städte nicht im Erbstromtal liegen. Das zeigt aber,

daß wir offen sind für alle Interessenten, die unsere Arbeit für Frieden, Gerechtigkeit und Bewahrung der Schöpfung engagiert und aktiv mitgestalten wollen. Derzeit gehören etwa 15 Aktive zu unserem Kreis. Wir arbeiten ausschließlich ehrenamtlich d.h. kein Mitglied unseres Kreises erhält eine Vergütung für seine Tätigkeit. Unser 1Welt-Kreis ist für jeden Interessenten offen, unabhängig von der Weltanschauung. Wir wünschen uns von den Mitstreitern allerdings, daß sie die christliche Basis dieses Kreises respektieren.

About us
In 2005, the Ecumenical 1World-Group in Erbstromtal was founded. We are a church members group, not a NGO. Members of our group come from several Protestant and Catholic parishes of our region, ie from Ruhla, Thal, Kittelsthal, Seebach - and even Eisenach and Erfurt, although these cities are not in the Erbstromtal. But this shows that we are open to all interested parties who want to work for peace, justice and integrity of creation and want actively participate. Currently about 15 people belong to our group. We work exclusively volunteer i.e. not a member of our group receives remuneration for his work. Our 1World-Group is open to anyone interested, regardless of belief. We desire of the combatants, however, that they respect the Christian basis of this circle.

BREAKING: Former President Barack Obama TORCHES Donald Trump's insane anti-Tylenol crusade in a fiery takedown, calling it "violence against the truth."

And the master orator was just getting warmed up...

"We have the spectacle of my successor in the Oval Office making broad claims around certain drugs and autism that have been continuously disproved,” Obama said during a speaking tour in London.

“And the degree to which that undermines public health, the degree to which that can do harm to women who are pregnant, the degree to which that creates anxiety for parents who do have children who are autistic — which, by the way, itself is subject to a spectrum,” he went on.

“And a lot of what is being trumpeted as these massive increases actually have to do with a broadening of the criteria across that spectrum so that people can actually get services. … All of that is violence against the truth," he added.

Trump and his hack MAGA health officials made their "big announcement" on Monday and urged pregnant women against using acetaminophen (the pronunciation of which Trump hilariously butchered) and alleged a possible link between the drug and autism. They provided no new evidence for this claim, which has cropped up in the past and been debunked. As usual, health policy under RFK Jr. is being motivated by conspiracy theories and a profoundly anti-science ethos.

The announcement is noteworthy for several reasons. Trump told pregnant women to "tough it out" rather than take Tylenol, even though it's one of the very few over-the-counter pain medications that's safe for pregnant women. Of course, the suffering of women is a nonissue for a misogynist sexual predator like Trump. He doesn't care if there's no evidence for this Tylenol attack and if his claims result in women enduring severe pain. He doesn't see women as people.

The announcement also has the added benefit of distracting from Trump's historic failure of an administration. He is constantly pushing the news cycle into new scandals to distract from his Jeffrey Epstein connections, his disastrous tariffs which are destroying the global economy and skyrocketing inflation, and the legacy of ashes left behind by his "big, beautiful bill" which slashed $1 trillion from Medicaid.

There has never been a worse president in American history and it falls to real leaders like Barack Obama to push back against the constant onslaught of lies, misdirection, and fascist rhetoric.
