The SoilSparks Project is ready to launch!

This project is part of the SoilScape Project consortium that brings together soils experts, artists and communities to increase awareness and actions for healthier soils. The SoilSparks is a partnership between Bantani Education and The EUROPARC Federation and aims to empower young people to co-create a hands-on soil awareness raising campaign "FOR youth, BY youth" bringing together the and + youth communities and innovative education specialists from the Bantani Education team.

Applications have opened for the first two stages:
1. Healthy Soils for Healthy People Summer School together with the Hohenheim University in Germany
2. Youth + Co-Creation Camp in the Parc naturel régional de la Montagne de Reims in France

Stay tuned to hear more and be ready to help launch the soil literacy campaign developed by youth in early 2027!
More information:

Healthy soil is the foundation of our food, climate, and future, but more and more soil is lost and degraded. The SoilSparks project seeks to spark a youth-created soil protection movement across Europe.

🐾In Search of the European Maritime/Mercantour Park 🗻

The Junior Rangers of the Maritime Alps cross the border to visit France on Sunday, April 19th. They went on a short trek, visited the medieval village of Tende, and the magnificent Musée des Merveilles. 🚶

🙋Normally, the meetings are reserved for the Junior Rangers of the Maritime Alps, but on this occasion, it was opened to families as well. It was a success! There were 65 people (22 Junior Rangers and the rest were families).

To make the visit more sustainable, they used the train, which made everything even more beautiful as they crossed the Maritime Alps from Italy to France.🛤️
